| This firm sets out to make its work- structural engineering- a formative part of building design. Our projects include all kinds of buildings and bridges, furniture and sculpture. We treat innovation with care and always seek to make a sustainable use of resources. In addition to finding the right size of elements to achieve economy and best value we also strive to understand the client and architect or designers intent, what they really seek, and then to 'engineer' an appropriate response. We pride ourselves on producing clear and concise information. Experience and Services Our portfolio of completed work includes structures for bridges, commercial developments, education buildings, housing, industrial units, retail premises, special canopies, art installations and sculptures. The company provides the following services:
" The design of structures in all materials Our Organisation The company was incorporated in 1993. We are divided into design groups each led by a director. At inception a project will be assigned to a group and resourced with individuals who will be maintained on the job throughout its duration. Reporting to the Director in charge an Associate or Project Engineer will maintain day-to-day running of the design work and manage additional resources, chartered and graduate engineers who may assist in the work. A project technician is responsible for the prompt issue and recording of information. Individuals within the company are responsible for our expertise in specific areas and maintain material specifications, practice notes and analytical procedures. All our design protocols and safety procedures are subject to annual review by the directors. |
