Images: 1 2 3 4 Enlarge image			La Maison Tropicale is Jean Prouvés design for a flat-pack colonial home, designed without structural calculations in the 1950s. One of the few remaining examples has been recovered from Brazzaville in the former Belgian Congo and renovated for exhibition. The structural elements have all been back analysed to prove their adequacy. Some elements were shown to be oversized and a few too lightweight for current standards.
